Slide Dash Buddy onto the dash edge directly above your heating vent so it grips securely. Press it in until it feels snug, then gently tug to confirm it won’t shift during bumps or turns.

Place your gloves in Dash Buddy and position it so warm air from the vent flows into the compartment. Turn the heat on medium and let the gloves warm for a few minutes before driving.

Pull the light out slowly from its housing until you reach the length you need (up to 4 feet). Aim it where you want illumination—under seats, in the footwell, or into the backseat—then retract it carefully when done.

Drop loose change into Dash Buddy so it stays contained instead of rattling around cup holders. When you need coins, open/reach in and grab what you need without digging through the console.

Use Dash Buddy as a quick “catch-all” by keeping frequently used items together in one spot. Put flat items (receipts, lists) along one side and bulkier items (pens, chapstick) toward the center so it closes neatly.

Make sure the mounting area is clean and dry. Re-seat it so it clamps firmly on the dash edge, and avoid overloading it with heavy items that could pull it forward.

Wipe it with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry it fully. Avoid harsh cleaners or solvents that can dull or stress ABS plastic.

Pick 5–7 items you always reach for (coins, pen, mini flashlight use, small list, spare key, etc.) and make that Dash Buddy’s permanent “home.” The rule: if it doesn’t help you weekly, it doesn’t live there.

Dash Buddy works best in vehicles with a dashboard edge positioned above a heating vent where it can grip securely. If your vent is recessed far back or there’s no firm dash lip to clamp onto, it may not seat as well.
